Newly listed Digizuite has hired 20 new employees to execute ambitious growth plan

Digizuite has been quickly executing the ambitious plan that the company presented in connection with its IPO that took place in May 2021. This year alone, Digizuite has hired 20 new employees, most of them having extensive experience contributing to significant growth at other global companies.

Digizuite was funded with DKK 55M at the time of its IPO on First North in May for the purpose of pursuing an accelerated growth plan. The execution of this plan involves investments in the market, product, and organization to compound Digizuite’s already impressive growth. Between 2017 and 2020, Digizuite achieved a 600% increase in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).

Digizuite team members who have been added this year include: Dean Read and Dan Bulauski, who previously led Episerver's North American sales function; Charlotte Blicher, who was previously Martech  Director at Simcorp; John Austin, who oversaw partner programs  at Sitecore; Rasmus Wendelboe, a former sales manager at Gartner; Jennifer Lund, formerly the CMO at Superoffice; and, Oliver Bottelet, who  served as CFO at Esoft.

Digizuite Chairman of the Board Søren Skovbølling is very inspired by the contents of the book "From Good to Great," by Jim Collins, which shows that successful companies are always created by very competent people.

"I am happy and proud of the team we are building and I am excited for the future that is brightening with the strong global team that we have managed to attract over the years," Skovbølling said.

Digizuite CEO Kim Wolters agrees that this people-first mentality is the lynchpin for corporate success.

"It is important for us to deliver on our goals and the right competencies are the most important prerequisite for us to accelerate our growth in the coming years,” Wolters said. “We have laid a fantastic foundation with 20 new hires in 2021.”

Twelve new employees are employed in Europe, 10 of whom are employed in Denmark. Six new employees are employed by the U.S. subsidiary, and two are in a Ukrainian software development center. The new employees strengthen the organization in a number of key areas, with the majority being within sales and marketing. These additions will help increase sales to both new and existing customers, in both the European and North American markets.

"We expect to make further hires during the year, but we have now strengthened the team in a number of key positions, completely in line with our growth plan,” Wolters said. “It's been an impressive effort by employees and managers to be able to complete so many hirings of really strong profiles, at the same time as the IPO that was conducted just a month ago. We serve some of the world's most recognized brands and we can only do this because we have an absolutely fantastic team of skilled employees in their own field and at the same time have managed to create a competitive Digital Asset Management (DAM) solution that creates great value for our customers.”

"Digizuite already has 50% of its turnover in North America and the other 50% in Europe. "It is very unique for a Danish company, so quickly to have created the success in the USA that we have managed with Digizuite", says Chairman Søren Skovbølling.
