Digizuite announces enhanced digital accessibility initiatives
ODENSE, DENMARK - Digizuite, a leader in Digital Asset Management (DAM) software, proudly announces its enhanced commitment to digital accessibility with a detailed accessibility statement for Digizuite Media Manager. This initiative marks a significant step in ensuring that Digizuite’s digital solutions are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.
Digizuite has committed to validating all releases of its DAM against established accessibility standards from 2023 onwards, aiming for compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA. This pledge showcases Digizuite's focus on inclusivity and its ongoing efforts to enhance its digital services.
The company has implemented comprehensive measures to support accessibility, such as integrating accessibility into its internal policies, assigning specific officers to oversee accessibility and offering continuous training for staff on accessibility issues.
These measures, combined with the use of structured quality assurance processes, highlight Digizuite's dedication to fostering inclusive digital environments with the necessary functionalities.
One of the functionalities – Keyboard navigation was tested by external user Peter Laursen, Software Developer at IMPACT, who has vision disability and he reports “In my view the keyboard navigation works well, I am able to navigate the system by using the tab function”
Going forward Digizuite encourages feedback on the accessibility of its Media Manager, demonstrating its openness to continuous improvement and dialogue with users to enhance product accessibility.
